Top 12 Ways - Increase Mozilla FireFox Internet Surfing speed

          Open the Mozilla firefox and type “about:config” in address bar, and press enter. This will open a page containing hundreds of line code. Firefox shows a warning window telling about warranty just press I promise botton.

1. Enable pipelining

Type “network.http.pipelining” in search or filter bar as shown in image above or you can scroll down fire fox for option “network.http.pipelining”. Make sure that the value of pipe lining must be “True” if is not then double click on “network.http.pipelining” to make it.

2. Editing  maxrequests value of pipelinig

Type “network.http.pipelining.maxrequests” in search or filter bar or scroll down the window. Make sure value is 8 , if is not 8 then double click on value, a popup widow ask you to enter value, put “8” and press “ok” botton.

 3. Enable Proxy Pipelinig

Type “network.http.proxy.pipelining” in search bar, make sure value is set to “True”, if is not then again double click on it.

4. Enable  disableIPv6

Type “network.dns.disableIPv6” and turn value to “true” , if not double click on it.

5. Adding Content Interrupted Parsing

Right click anywhere in “about:config” page in list code section (without selecting any code), apple user may try ctr+click option. After that follow the path, 1st right click > “New”  > “Boolean” ,  click on Boolean. Now a popup window comes up , type “content.interrupted.parsing”  and press ok. After that a window ask you to “Enter Boolean Value” click on “True” and hit ok.

6. Display speed  downloaded page

Firefox doesn’t  want to keep you waiting while loading page, so it shows what is downloaded in some specific time interval. So by reducing the ttime we can speed up our firefox.
             To do it right click anywhere as above method no.5 , select New > Integer  click on integer. Now enter  “ Content.max.tokenizing.time” and press ok , enter the value “2250000” and hit ok.

7.Content Notify Interval

This option sets the minimum amt of time to wait between reflows. Right click > New > Integer , click “integer”. And enter “content.notify.interval” and next to it put “750000” and press ok.

8.Content Notify Ontimer

Right click > New > Boolean > enter “content.notify.ontimer” and make it true by double click.

9.Notify backoffcount

Right click > New > Integer. Type “content.notify.backoffcount” and enter value “5” and hit ok. .Notify backoffcountRight click > New > Integer. Type “content.notify.backoffcount” and enter value “5” and hit ok.

10.Content switch threshold

Right click > New > Integer, type “content.switch.threshold” and pess ok. Put “750000” .

11.Nglayout initialpaint delay

Right Click > New > Integer, type “nglayout.initial.delay” and put value “0” and press ok.

12.Increase Cache disk Capacity

Click On Firefox botton > Option > Advance > click “override” and set limit, More RAM = More MB, simple formula. As above image.
